ruffle circle skirt

I saw this dress and thought I really need to make this!

I love everything about this, the color, the skirt, the halter tie.

Adorable!!

Look at how fun this dress is!

So I found this out-dated beauty!

And added some personal touches

the shearing was totally new to me

Turned out great, if I do say so myself!

The tie is adorable!

I can not get enough of the ruffle

think of the twirling!

I am crossing my fingers it fits! 

and I am looking forward to seeing some action shots

Easter Dress

I started to panic Friday........

My youngest daughter didn't have an Easter dress!!

What have I been doing with my time???

So I found this shirt, super cute flowery print with a great collar and sleeves

SO I made my little lady an easter dress!

 LOVE IT!

Izzy suggested the light blue tie, I love it!

As soon as it was finished she HAD to wear it

 siting with Marshel and her cereal

I finally got the dress off her after her and Marshel ate all the cereal.

She got to wear it for Easter

What a wonderful day it was

It was difficult to get the dress off, when it was time for bed

Not only do they have a great product but their customer service is amazing!

I was surfing the web looking for custom stamps, I am so happy I stumbled upon Simon Stamp. I placed my order, but I guess when my logo was downloaded it wasn't as clear as it should have been. The company emailed me  right away requesting a new file of the photo. They had they stamp made the next day and delivered to my door step within 4 days. The stamp is exactly what I wanted.

Along with the stamp I really wanted custom labels, but honestly I didn't want to spend a small fortune.

I was reading a blog, I wish I could remember which one :(

but they directed me to Spoon flower custom fabrics. So you can make custom fabric that you can cut to use as labels, genius!!

this company is fantastic! GREAT products and service.

At  first I must admit I was a little intimidated by the whole thing, sizing, resizing, the borders, the DPI....

they walk you through it and there is a great tutorial on how to make labels using photoshop, but you can also use picture monkey and other photo editors 

 hey, if I can do it, so can you!

You can make them any size with logos, pictures, text there is even a trick on how to get them to NOT fray once you cut them

STRIPES!

 Things got a little crazy this week

I had some striped shirts....

ok I had A LOT of stripes, some of them had the chance to be refashioned 

who doesn't love STRIPES right?!?!?!

so here are the make overs......

this XL women's cotton shirt is a really pretty pale pink

here is the BEFORE...

 AND AFTER......

 Size 5T dress for some Little Lady $22.00

Here is another striped

size small woman's cotton top

Added the gray short sleeves and refashioned into a tunic for a little lady

This is a size 12months $18.00

This is a size Large Maternity top, lots of fabric and so soft!

 Refashioned into a size 2T Dress $28.00

(I want to wear this!!)

Just because I couldn't get enough stripes, I turned this cotton fabric baby wrap  into...................

(which by the way is horrible as a baby wrap) 

this Beautiful bright ruffle skirt this is size 12-18months $22.00

I also had these three tops, but I only had time for the red ruffle striped one this week......check it out!

this is an Old Navy Women's shirt refashioned into a 

size 2T dress $28.00

(this fits my daughter perfect!)

so great with the draw string was it will fit for longer!

looks a lot like the BLUE STRIPED DRESS I made a couple weeks ago

it is such a great pattern, you will see more of these

so comfy and CUTE!!
